![]() ![]() ![]() The Diana Park Hostel was in a swish building but the hostel itself wasn’t anything special. Having already walked two miles between the Tallinn apartment and the port, the Green Turtle and I were certainly putting in some miles together that day. My hostel was nearly two miles away from the port. ![]() It was a bit strange but it made me smile. Upon exiting the terminal, one of the first things I saw was a large fountain/sculpture of a man peeing on the street. Even a small bottle of iced tea cost over three euros in Finland (a big bottle in Tallinn only cost €1.15). After seeing the prices in Finland, I could understand why the route was used as a booze cruise. Originally, I was to have taken the 6am ferry, but I’d changed it as I hadn’t been able to face a 4am start.Īs with flights, everyone swarmed to the exit so they could be the first to disembark, most laden with crates of alcohol. The 12pm Eckerö ferry from Tallinn arrived in Helsinki a couple of hours later. ![]()
